Briefcast is an AI morning analyst. To do that job we store the things you tell it about you (your context), the sources you add, and the briefings we generate. We don't sell any of it, and we don't train third-party models on your data.

• Account: email, sign-in provider, optional phone number for WhatsApp delivery.
• Context you give us: identity, what you're building, themes, watch list, ignore list.
• Sources you add: URLs, newsletter handles, tickers, podcast feeds.
• Briefing artifacts: generated editions, your thumbs-up/down feedback.
• Standard product telemetry: page loads, error reports, basic usage events. No third-party advertising trackers.

We use your context and feedback to rank, filter, and write your briefings. We pass relevant context to the underlying AI models that generate text and voice — currently Google (Gemini), ElevenLabs (voice), and OpenAI for fallback embeddings. These providers receive only what's needed for the request and operate under no-training agreements with their enterprise APIs.

• Sell or rent your data.
• Use your private content to train shared models.
• Read or surface another user's context to you.

Data lives in EU-region Supabase Postgres. You can wipe your account from Settings → Danger Zone, which deletes your context, sources, briefings, and editions within 24h. We keep minimal billing records as required by law.

We use first-party cookies/localStorage only for sign-in sessions and your own preferences. No third-party ad cookies.
